Meridian GMT flight controls (2026): platforms and pre-orders
The short answer
A sourced guide to Horizon Plus, Latitude Plus and Handheld Flightdeck: platform support, included modules and the checks to make before a pre-order.

What's covered6
Meridian GMT flight controls cover three different jobs: a yoke, a throttle quadrant and a handheld controller. Start with the platform you use, then check the exact product. The Xbox support stated for the handheld does not extend to the yoke and throttle.
This guide records the maker's published information checked on November 1, 2026. The official press facts supply the product names and support details. The pre-order page gives the order terms. Check them again before paying.
Horizon Plus is the modular yoke. Latitude Plus is the throttle, with Toulouse and Everett editions. Handheld Flightdeck is the Xbox and PC controller called X-Ray in earlier coverage. The maker lists the yoke and throttle for pre-order, with partial Mac support at launch. The handheld awaits release through PowerA. A product announcement is not proof of stock or delivery.
Meridian GMT flight controls: pick by platform first
For Horizon Plus and Latitude Plus, the maker states full support for Windows 10 and 11 and partial Mac support at launch. Its press facts name Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12 on Windows at launch. Do not read that as full Mac support for every function.
Handheld Flightdeck has a different platform statement. The maker lists Xbox Series X|S and Windows PCs. It also says the controller has been tested with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and with X-Plane 12 on PC. That is not a claim that X-Plane runs on Xbox.
If you use a different sim, an older release or a custom aircraft, check that use case with the maker. A platform name alone does not settle every aircraft function. Write down the exact sim and aircraft you need before checking support.
Horizon Plus: the modular yoke
Horizon Plus has a yoke base, a quick-release handle and two swappable avionics bays. The product page explains its controls and mounting options. The current pre-order page lists a base and handle, three avionics modules, two switch covers, a table mount and a USB cable.
Check what each included module does before planning your desk. A modular design lets the hardware serve different layouts, but it does not mean every optional part comes in the box. Use the order's included-hardware list as the final check.
The maker calls its haptic system Impulse. Its press facts say Horizon Plus is not a force feedback yoke. Keep that distinction in mind if force feedback is part of your buying plan. A vibration or impact effect is not the same specification.
Latitude Plus: check the aircraft edition
Latitude Plus is the throttle quadrant. Both editions include complete General Aviation controls, according to the maker. Toulouse adds Airbus equipment; Everett adds Boeing equipment. The other aircraft kit is sold separately.
Choose the edition around the layout you want to use first. Do not assume that ordering one edition supplies every kit shown in launch coverage. Compare the actual order line with the controls you expect to receive.
The pre-order page lists a base, table mount, USB cable, General Aviation controls and the chosen edition's equipment. If you plan to switch between aircraft types, check the extra kit's current availability and cost before placing the order.
Handheld Flightdeck and the older X-Ray name
Earlier articles call the handheld X-Ray. The maker's current press page calls it Handheld Flightdeck. Its product page still uses an X-Ray URL, so the old name in a link does not by itself identify a different controller.
The product uses magnetic faceplates and swappable control modules for different flight roles. The maker lists General Aviation, Commercial and Helicopter setups. It says the box includes a commercial throttle and a helicopter collective; check the full contents list for the other inserts and faceplates.
On Xbox, the stated connection choices are wired USB and the supplied wireless dongle. Bluetooth is listed for Windows. Check the platform-specific connection rather than assuming that every wireless mode works on both systems.
The maker says PowerA will be the main seller and lists the controller as awaiting release. Follow the official PowerA link from Meridian GMT for availability. Do not treat an old reveal date or a newsletter form as an order confirmation.
Meridian GMT flight controls: read the payment schedule
The pre-order page currently lists a refundable deposit for each Horizon Plus or Latitude Plus product. It separates the deposit from the total price and balance due. Read all three fields; the amount paid today is not the full purchase price.
It lists shipment for Q1 2027. That is the maker's stated plan at the time of this check, not a delivery result. The same page gives cancellation and refund terms and says deposits are refundable before shipment.
Check the tax and shipping at checkout, along with the final currency. The page distinguishes EU and UK tax-inclusive display prices from US and international prices that exclude tax. Keep the order confirmation and terms that apply when you buy.
Before you commit, check these points:
- The exact product and Latitude edition are named on the order.
- Your platform and simulator appear in the current support details.
- The included modules and mount fit the setup you intend to build.
- You understand the deposit, remaining balance and payment timing.
- You have read the current shipment, cancellation and refund terms.
Verdict: match the product to your setup
Choose Meridian GMT flight controls by job and platform. Horizon Plus is the yoke route; Latitude Plus supplies throttle controls in a chosen edition. Handheld Flightdeck is the stated Xbox option and remains a separate product with its own availability.
